BBC World is the BBC’s commercially funded international news and information television channel, broadcasting in English 24 hours a day. It can be seen in 260 million homes in over 200 countries and territories. Of these, 113 million households can receive the channel on a 24-hour basis. In addition, it is also carried in more than a million hotel rooms and on 18 airlines and 21 cruise ships.
BBC World provides news, business and sport and explains not only what is happening but why.
