Yugo Ishida

    Mr. Ishida joined Nomura in 1979 and during his career has worked in Nomura's offices in Bahrain, Hong Kong and Italy (where he headed Nomura's Italian operations) as well as Tokyo. In 2000 he moved from Milan to London to become Managing Director of European Equity. In 2004 he became COO and Deputy CEO and was appointed President & CEO in April 2005.

    Mr. Ishida has a degree in Economics from Keio from Keio University and studied at the American University in Cairo between 1982 – 1984 (Intermediate Certificate in Arabic).
