Saudi Journalist
Turky Ben Abdullah Al-Dakhil, a Saudi journalist and Media person. He studied at Al Imam Mohamed Ben Saoud University, Religious Principles Faculty, Sunnis Division, and followed a number of specialized sessions in “photography, journalistic editing and internet sites management” in the United States. He has been involved in the field of journalism since 1989 and was recruited by a number of journalism institutions in 1994 as follows: “Al-Riyadh”, Oukaz”, Al- Sharq Al Awsat”(Middle East), Al-Majala” Al Muslimun”(Muslims)”, Aalam Al Riyadah”(Sports World), A-Jil Magazine. He ended up by being recruited as full time journalist by “Al Hayat” newspaper in Saudi Arabia. He has also served as political editor and political reporter for Montecarlo Radio in Saudi Arabia in 1997-1998, and as political reporter for MBCFM in 1999. He moved to mbc station and later on to “Al-Arabia” in 2002. He contributed to the foundation of Elaf website and he is the general supervisor of “Al-Arabia” site, http://www.alarabiya.net. He founded Iqlaa e-magazine and served as its editor-in-chief. He established “Jasad Al Saqafa” website, http://www.jsad.net, designed to cover different areas in literature, written and visual arts. He presents a weekly open talk show on “Al- Arabia and Panorama station under the name “Idaat”, being broadcasted since September 2002 to present. He worked in local, religious, sport and political journalism, as editor and reporter. He presented informative consultancy for many authorities and he owns and manages öAl-Misbar Studies and Research Center in Dubai. |
