Soren Lund
Director at the LEGO Group

    Soren Lund is a director at the LEGO Group, where he has global responsibility for managing the LEGO MINDSTORMS brand. He is responsible for the product development and the global marketing strategy for the recently launched next generation of consumer robotics, LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT. By inviting core users from the MINDSTORMS community into the product development process, Mr. Lund and the LEGO team are at the forefront of the consumer-driven innovation trend. Moving beyond launch, Mr. Lund continues to champion the concept that product innovation benefits from consumer participation and involvement. He is one of the five people featured in the recent Forbes magazine E-Gang cover story, focused on technology innovation leaders. For three years following the successful launch of the MINDSTORMS debut product in 1998, Mr. Lund managed the company’s relationship with and expansion of the FIRST LEGO League robotics program. Mr. Lund, who has been with the LEGO Group since 1993, started his career as a logistics consultant. He holds an engineering degree from the College of Odense in Denmark and an EBA from the college of Horsens, Denmark.
