Russell Pullan

    Russell is the Director of New Energy & Clean Technology Ventures, a venture capital fund which is part of Nomura International, Japan’s leading merchant bank. Prior to joining Nomura to develop the fund, he was Head of Venture Capital at The Carbon Trust. He has twenty years' of international experience as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, board member and developer of technology and environment-related businesses. Russell’s early focus on investment into environmental technologies led him to be considered a pioneer in cleantech venture capital which is undergoing rapid sector growth. He is member of the CalSTRS Clean Technology Advisory Board and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Russell has a BSc (honors) from Canada and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
