Goals
The Arab Thought Foundation, as part of its annual focus on critical issues, welcomes to its 2007 discussion the leading business people, investors, media executives, technology’s pioneers and providers, and entrepreneurs, government leaders, concerned scholars and strategic thinkers for a deep and meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences and goals about the role and responsibility of business in the shaping of our shared, complex, and fragile world.
Prior ATF conferences have focused on Arab culture, issues of change, education, and media. The 2007 theme positions Arab countries as an active member sharing the concerns of the global community and as a contributor influencing positive outcomes in the Global Era.
The content of this conference entitled : Arab Strategies For The Global Era, will have the following Goals:
•To assemble the smartest business leaders in Arab countries to discuss the major
challenges facing businesses and societies worldwide and how Arab executives are
developing innovative solutions to complex problems of energy, population growth,
environmental impact, economic disparities, and societal needs.
•To ask the assembled leaders how they are engaged in doing good for society while
doing well for their companies.
•To raise global awareness of the values, people and policies driving Arab competitiveness
in this era of globalization.
In keeping with ATF goals of excellence in all endeavors, Fikr6 will strive for
the following objectives:
• To continue to achieve recognition as the premier conference in the region by
offering program content that is stimulating, timely and meaningful, particularly
to people in the region.
• To create the right environment conducive to active interaction and networking
among panelists and participants.
• To foster information exchange between Arab leaders and their non-Arab counterparts,
deepening mutual respect.
•To provide value of new ideas, new initiatives, new relationships so that participants
are eager to be included in the following year’s conference. |
